How does laundry management software work?
Laundry management software turns each bundle a customer drops off into an order with its items, services, rates and promised date. Staff work from a shared list of orders by stage, the system calculates the bill, and payments are recorded against the order so balances are always current.
In KIWIKIT, each order line can be priced per piece or per kilogram (with decimals), urgent lines can carry an urgent rate, and the order moves from Received to In Cleaning to Ready for Pickup to Delivered — with WhatsApp updates to the customer at each step.

How a laundry order runs in KIWIKIT
Set your rate card
Edit the ready-made list of garments and services, with per-piece or per-kilo rates.
Take the bundle
Add lines by piece or weight, set the delivery date, take an advance if needed.
Tag and process
Print tags, and staff mark garments done by scanning them.
Notify the customer
When the last item is done, the bill is generated and a WhatsApp message goes out.
Hand over and collect

FAQ
Common questions
Can I charge laundry by weight?
Yes. Every order line can use pieces or kilograms, and weights can include decimals. Per-kilo and per-piece lines can be on the same order.
Can I mark urgent or express orders?
Yes. Orders can be flagged express, and each garment and service can have an urgent rate alongside the normal rate. Note that the express flag does not add an automatic surcharge — use the urgent rate for that.
Can customers see when their laundry is ready?
Yes. KIWIKIT can send a WhatsApp message when the order is ready for pickup, and the private tracking link shows status, amount paid and balance.
Can I hand over part of a laundry order?
Yes. Finished items can be handed over while the rest is still being processed, and the system keeps track of what is still with you.
